250.00 for a stock base...? How much does the extrude hone cost?

Ouch... Why pay that when you can buy an aftermarket base and port it for about the same cash outlay? I am not being a smarta$$ , just asking an honest question. I have heard that the extrude hone is nice, but is it really worth that kind of money?

Just imagine the entire inside of the base being as smooth as glass and polished like a mirror all the way around the full length of all ports.

Maybe a pic of a runner/port with a flashlight on the other side lighting it up would be better.

Don,

What does the base flow after it has been opened up with the mud?

Cheers.
