Tom Lee is the best. He can custom tune your Steering gear for feed back and effort. The last couple he made for me had hallow shafts, internal reservoir with large paper filter and the filler cap right on the box very trick.

Lee is the best. People from every auto sport and every country send their stuff there. I had the one for the blue bunny rebuilt there for around $300 or so but I had them increase the pressure valve from the stock Z28 35# to a 40# at slightly addional cost. That box now resides in the Grey Goose. I would not hesitate to take your box and/or pump there to get done right.

The problem with the rebuilds at the auto stores is that you may or may not get the correct steering ratio but also they put the lightest pressur valve in there and you end up with an overboosted feeling instead of the weighted steering like in the Z28.

I also bought his power steering fluid but then refilled using valvoline.

Lee is great. Rebuilt my autox box. I have 2 boxes depending on what I do. 36# or autox and 40# for track events.

Lee's fluid is the best stuff on the market. Lots of Vette and 4th gen people had problems with their units overheating and his fluid helped without adding coolers.
