Why was I gone. Took a vacation at the local hospital.
In Jan, by accident, a small tumor was discovered on my stomach. So finally I had it removed last week. 8.5 days in the hosp, mostly hooked up like the space shuttle ready for launch.
Pathology reports are not back, but with all the negative biopsy tests prior to the surgery and it's small golf ball size, I would be suprised if its milgant.
My recovery is going well, I am testing foods, but I've had a hamburger (think white castle then cut in 1/2), egg, pot roast, just small portions so I eat 4-5 times a day.
Like I said 2007 so far suks.

While you were gone, I got a 12 second run at Fontana, Mike joined a Buddhist monastery and Don has started working on Imports, with Vincent as his first customer.
Yes, Don has decided to delve into an untapped market — turbo charged Yugos. Vince got all excited when he heard the news and ran out and bought one. He wanted to be Don's first customer. He's hoping for a high 17 sec run at Fontana soon.
Ask Chris about his time slips with the Mazda pick up.
And we had a old Datsun 510, talk about light and fast.
510's can be fast. Had a friend in High School that built one. His father owned a Datsun Z shop at the time and built a crazy fast 240Z. Still one of the fastest cars I've ever been in. You could easily spin the tires thru all the gears before it would hook-up if you weren't careful.
Speaking of Mazda, there used to be a guy who ran at the street races, back in the day, with a Mazda pick up. Beat a lot of people. Then there was the guy who used run an RX2 in one of the classes at Saugus Speedway. It would pull the inside front wheel exiting the turns.
