700r4 install? near torrance.

if anyone is near torrance, and wants to make a few bucks, im looking for somebody to pop a new 700r4 in my 84z28... i HATE the top tranny bolts so id rather pay to get it done.. the engine is a 237 bored 30 over, out of a 68 impala ss.... im not "rich" by any means so a 200 doller tow to OC is out of the question.. im about to pay 4k to get my licence back so im pretty tapped out.. i was going to bag my 75 chevy shortbed, but, i just flat out miss driving my Z... and its time to get her on the road again...

Re: 700r4 install? near torrance.

for the top bolts, you got few options: 1) jack up the tranny at the tail housing, 'till it hits the tunnel, then use a wrench under the hood behind the engine to get the upper bolts. 2) Go to your local Harbor Freight, and buy swivel sockets and a long extension http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/...bCategoryName=

hope this will help

lol...yep thanx..... i usually use the long extension way, i mean super long, i lay all the way near the rear wheels and us an impact wrench.... but its in my moms driveway, and its not a regular driveway, its like stone

this is like the 3rd engine i put in it, and i HATE! messing with it now...lol..
i work nights so im never really up to working on it durring the day...

but soon as i get my licence back next moth, i may have no other choice but to slap it in myself, or just drive my shortbed while i drop it and paint it..

well see.
