Smog pump!

For the past few das my motor had been running weird, it just sounded different to me. I took the belt off last night and spun all the accessories, and the smog pump is really grinding away at itself. Now, seeing as I don't want to be sent to the smog gulag, how do I fix this before it seizes up on me?

Re: Smog pump!

More than likely you will need to replace it, but a temporary fix would be to remove it, oil the bearings, and replace it. You can also try squirting the oil in thru the back hole after removing the black pipe that leads to the black plastic air diverter assembly.
