Re: corvette rims

I'm sure you can go to a Sound System and Wheels dealer and get it from them. I got my Z06 wheels from Pacific Stereo in Lakewood. I would never recommend that place to anyone though.

If you get the Z06 wheels for a third gen, don't forget you will need spacers. Pretty wide spacers.

Re: corvette rims

Picked up a set off of craigslist for my 95 about a month ago, like new, $600 with tires. Saw another set last week on craigslist for $400 with tires (75% of tread left). Just type in corvette and start scrolling.

Re: corvette rims

I got a sterio and amp from them about 5 years ago and they charged me way too much and did a shitty job installing it. I would never recommend them either. If you want sounds for cheap head out towards downtown LA in 11th street just west of central the whole block is electronics shops. You can find good deals on sounds alarms lights etc. Best of all you can bargain with them and the stuff they sell also has a warranty

Well I went there one night while they were closing. I started talking to the sales rep and I ended up chosing a new sound system for my car which was going to run for about 3,200.00. I was told that he can open a credit account for me and i would pay about 30 bucks a month until I pay it off and no interest. So I said go for it. I got home and started running the numbers and realized that I wasnt getting much of a deal and I was kinda paying cost for all my stuff. Then the wife let me have it. I really did not need a system since I am already running two 12" Kenwood subs. So first thing the next morning I called the sales rep and I told him I wanted to cancel the order. He said it was no problem but I had to come and talk to the manager. I told him cancel the order and I will be in later.

Two months later I get a credit card in the mail with $3,200 charged to it. The credit limit was $3k so I had to pay the $200 extra plus the monthly charge of about $190. I called the credit card company to see where this credit came from and it was Pacific Stereo. I called them and went down there and they did not want to cancel my stuff. I filled a complaint with the BBB. I could have done more and beat them since I had no components on my car and the credit card was still billed but, im an idiot.

So long story short I ended up talking to the owner and I told him just to give me credit. He agreed and for the amount of $3,200 I got the Rims (balanced and installed) with new tires (was suppose to get Khumo but they eneded up giving me Nakang) and spacers, a new box for my two 12"s, a capacitor, and a venom viper alarm system. I still ended up getting screwed, but lesson learned right.

When the owner gave me the keys and thank me for my business, I looked at him in the eyes and told him that I hated his establishment and that I would never recommened his business to anyone. "You are the piece of trash that does not want the customer to leave happy, you made your money so now you can tell me to leave and never return."

It wasd funny, like three customers came to complain while my wheels were getting installed. I didnt even get the right tires I asked for but I just wanted to leave.
