Backspacing

I ordered some rims from Summit and realized that it would not fit my car, I cancelled it, now I'm going after new wheels. I know that the backspacing of our cars is 3 and 3/4's, the wheels that I want to buy are Mickey Thompson's but have a 3 and 5/16's backspace, do any one of you know if (3 5/16's) wheels will fit our (3 3/4's) cars? Thank You so much.

Check here:

7/16" should not be that big a deal.

Re: Backspacing

You can go up to 6" backspacing on these cars without a problem, 5.5"-5.75" if your car is really lowered.

Obviously tire choice can effect this but for the most part ^

Re: Backspacing

Is the back spacing the same front and rear? I was under the impression it was different? Stock rear was 5.5" and front was less?

Front should be 4.5" for the front 16x8 wheels. 5.5" sounds about right for the rear. Might be closer to 5.25".
