Cal Speedway ?'s

Went there yesterday for the private track rental. Got a new best e.t. 11.67
@112 - In part due to some new MT's - and a 1.60 60'. MPH was down 4-5 mph due to the 15-25 mph headwind we fought all day.

Question is - does the new track run uphill or is in an optical illusion.

Re: Cal Speedway ?'s

Its Backwards
Its uphill for the run and downhill for the shut down.
I forgot to look, but I have heard that you cant see the tree in your mirror after the 1/4 mile

Thanks Julie. I made a video for one of the buick guys I raced with.
This launch I cut a 1.64

California Speedway - 1/18/08 - Private track rental. Gary's low mile T-Type and Frank's TTA

The track was prepped in the morning but went away according to guys on regular street tires. My 60's dropped as the day went on so I wasn't complaining.

Well done Frank.

He was probably taking lessons from me on the best way to sleep at the light!

Or he wasnt done building boost yet and wanted to give the other guy a head start, cuz he's so nice.

Yeh, I takes a second to build 15# of boost at the line without a transbrake.
