Evap Test- Not Accesible

I know that my Monte Carlo is not a thirdgen but I thought this would be interesting to you guys who hate the new Evap test. I went to smog my 95 Monte Carlo Z34 today and the tech did the usual but when it came time for the Evap test he was searching for the place to crimp and could not find it so he told me that I did not need it since my car was not accessible to do the test on. I just hope that my IROC has the same problem LOL .

Re: Evap Test- Not Accesible

The evap hose on the thirdgen is right up front going into the charcoal cannister. No such luck that it would be hidden.

Re: Evap Test- Not Accesible

Unless of course you installed a supercharger and followed the instructions to relocate the charcoal canister to where its inaccessible. Whoops!
