Wow! I remember he was my ultimate hero as a young teenager... now at 36, it's unreal to see him gone... he's still the man.

Wow, and thinking I was this close to leave my country to go ask him for a floor sweeper job, just to get the foot in.. maybe I should have. now that option is no more. wow

Well, personally I dont think one generally should expect sons do be as good, or better then their father at whatever trade they excell in. Sons are made out of moms too, so although they may overall be "as good", it may not be in the excact same field. People have different interests etc.

So I wouldnt hold it against his son if he wasnt the same, or as good a hotrod builder as his father. He might have other unseen or unknown to the hotrod community abilities though.

Oh wow thats something how live evolves. He did leave quite the legacy behind. Innovation and style was his main stay which was evident in his projects.

He will be missed.
