I may buy an 87 trans am to part out. The guy also said it may be a GTA but he's not sure. Its a 5.0 TPI 5spd car has ttops, the car runs and body is in good shape. Just trying to see if there's interest since I would only buy it because I want to convert my tbi to tpi and i would sell everything else from the car.
So if anybody needs:
a complete 5spd swap
engine minus tpi components
all body parts and interior oh and it also has a 145 mph speedometer

Thats not a GTA. Doesnt matter much though, for what you need.

How much for the front bumper assembly ?

The car ran a little better then expected and the wife fell inlove with it. I'm going to completely look it over this weekend and depending on how much it would take to make it a reliable daily driver for the wife i will decide on parting it out. So far all i can tell it needs is a thermostat, tune up, and steering column but i already have the steering column from an 85 z28. So I'll keep you guys updated

Ok change of plans i decided i have too many projects going and am going to start tearing the car apart this weekend. Let me know what you need. I will also began to post prices once i'm done.

Bigger parts like hood, hatch, and motor i can offer a good deal on if picked up this weekend since they take up a lot of space.

The car ran real good engine felt real strong even though it sat for about 2 years and fired right up no problems and made the hour 1/2 drive from Perris to downey with not one problem

No its all going to be sold. I wanted to keep the tpi but after research i'd rather get a sd setup down the line.

I don't know where downey falls is but i'm in downey ca. By the 605/5 interchange. I have everything for the 5spd swap but the shifter console has a crack in it. Since you're in chico i'm assuming thats up north i'm in Southern CA not too far From Los Angeles

I'm interested in the headlight, uh, bezels? The little black frame that goes around them. If you still have that.

My car never had them. I don't even know if they will open and close with them!

What color is the interior?

I may also be interested in the tail light, because mine are starting to bubble inside. I'll have to see which one I need.

the interior is gray. I'll have to check and see if the headlights have that frame on them.
