Corvette wheels on Craigs list

Hey guys, I need some wheels really bad because I bent 2 of mine. I was looking on craigs list and found these but I wanted to make sure they would fit my 92 camaro before I bought them. I know that I will need spacers for the front. A quick response would be helpfull. thank you in advance http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/pts/617533098.html

They will fit but you will need the same size spacers in all four corners. I forget what the spacer size is. Here is the set up on my car.

Also, 275 is way too much tire. I went with 245 and I beileve that was as far as I can go to get the wheel to stay in the wheel well.

Those rims will look really good on your 3rd gen with 2" spacers. I have 2001 Corvette rims on my 87 Camaro and I'm real happy with them.

Hello I was wondering can you post any pictures up of your rims to see how do they fit on your 91... I have a 92 Formula 350 and I was thinking of puchasing the same rims However I wanted to see which tires would fit the best 245 or 275.. thank you

Re: Corvette wheels on Craigs list

hhmm...I thought the 4th gen rear end was 2 inches wider on each side? If that is the case, how did you get the rear wheels to fit in the wheel well? I have the stock rear end and I have 18" Z06 wheels on 245's and the wheels still stick out alittle more that yours....did you modify anything?

Re: Corvette wheels on Craigs list

yeah i had heard that too. I just bought the car and it came as is so if anything was modified i have no idea. I read on here that when you put the 4th gen rear with 3rd gen wheels they stick out more but not with 4th gen wheels. I'm not 100% about this though but i'm pretty sure i read it here but i do know that mine don't stick out

It all has to do with offset of the wheels. 4th gen wheels on a 4th gen axle fit fine on our cars.

4th gen wheels on a 3rd gen axle require spacers.
