Fire Trucks
Probably the reason for all the firetrucks going by Sat nite.

Gains were also fuelled by news of a fire at Exxon Mobil's 150,000 barrel per day Los Angeles-area refinery in Torrance, California, which forced the closure of a hydrotreater, raising concerns about summer gasoline supplies.

Whew! I was afraid you were going to pick on the firemen, too!
I also read recently that airplane gas is up 60% and some small airline companies have been forced to close. With the summer racing coming up, does anyone know what 100 octane costs lately?

Sorry Chris, but I had three people report this post as non-thirdgen, and your dad is infamous for his off-topic stuff, so I had to tease him a little.
Julie, no idea on the prices but I would suspect its close to $8 a gallon. It was close to $7 last time I filled up our cans.

Re: Fire Trucks
So next time something happens while we are standing in the parking lot at our meeting, such as a SUV full of hot looking women drive by honking and waving and I happen to find out were they went, I not gonna post it.
