hi my name is Kevin and I wanted to say hi to everyone, I just signed up for this site and i like it already. I was refered here by jon92ta, who i met at irwindale speedway(not going to mention who the track is sponsered by)anyway i look forward to talking to more of you.
Ahh, you're the guy with the red thirdgen in his pics! Welcome to our board. My name is Kevin, also. You guys were out at the speedway while we were having our club meeting. The next one will be in June. We're organizing a car cruise out in Riverside coming up here in a few weeks. Stay tuned.
thanks for the weclome. im defently going to be signed on here often. im going to be at irwindale speedway again next weekend, i really enjoyed it and want to get myself and my car out more often so ill defently be keeping in touch.
Thanks for the compliment on my car, its my first and only car.i love it.
hey no prollm man just one word of advice... make sure you search for a good half-hour before you ask a question. Personally im one for just ask and have someone answer real quick but lots of guys will really ride you about not searching, and theyre kinda right cause there is a ton of information here. Jus fyi so you dont get yelled at right off the bat like i did. Take care of that car man! l8r.

The info on the upcoming cruise is up on the board. It is planned for Saturday April 26. If you can make it we plan to meet at the Denny's in Perris for breakfast at 9:00 am.

ill remember that. the last thing i want is people yelling at me
now dont get the wrong idea 95% of this board is full of awesome information. many times i have been steered away from a project by knowledgable people who knew i wouldnt get the results i wanted with my ideas, or knew better ways.
but yea its not a great feeling gettin yelled at... then you feel worse when your 2nd search finds the topic you was askin about.
overall though you will love it here these guys know everything there is to know about every nut and bolt in these cars.

Its only a problem if you ask basic and simple questions like "Has anyone ever put headers on their car?" I mean, come on, in 25 years of thirdgens being around, I'm sure SOMEONE has put headers on their car before. Or even better, is the new young owner with $10 in his pocket and wants to know how he can get 5000 horsepower but only spending $8.95. We tend to frown on those kinds of questions because they've been asked millions of times already. Its gets repetitive. But dont hesitate to ask if you've searched and still cant find it. Just be prepared to give as much detail as possible. Also understand that not every problem can be diagnosed and solved over the internet.
ill try to make sure i use a little common sense. i like reading all of the threads anyway. even if i dont post im still reading most of them. i was signed in to this most of the day yesterday while i was at work. good thing my boss doesnt get out of his office much or else id be in trouble
