I am taking my car to scrap metal this weekend and I have the 85 z28 hood aswell as the hatch free pick up only but it has to be picked up by this weekend. The hood has minor rust issues but the hatch from what i recall is in great shape but i didn't examin it in great detail
hey man... im just wondering if you have the two mounts for the header panel (for the headlamps) the two black triangles behind the nose bumper skin and the header panel... if those are going to the scrap yard could you pull them or at least the passenger side one and send it to me... i'll pay shipping...
on a sidenote if i coulda figured out how to get that hood into my geo i woulda took it when i picked up the rims...
the header panel has been sold. and what black triangles do u think you can find a pic somewhere and i'll let you know if i have them and if i do will ship them to u. and if you bring plenty of rope we can tie the hood to the top of the geo lmao lol
Or if you really want the hood drive your camaro to my place with no hood and we'll bolt it on here or drive with your current hood and we'll swap hoods and i'll scrap yours with the car. your call but we can probably work something out. I'd rather someone enjoy it then sending it to scrap
thats an interesting idea... i have to go to irvine soon to pickup some suspension parts... would you be willing to hold the hood if someone doesnt grab it by this weekend...
as for those header panel mounts... i'll take pictures of them on my car tomorrow while im washing my car... and i'll post them up... thanks for looking into it...
hey do you happen to have the screws that bolt the hatch on, i kinda stripped one of mine and i rather drive over to downey then to go waste time at a junk yard let me know thanks
as a matter of fact i do since the hatch is still on lol u don't want the entire hatch? its in good shape lol if not its cool i'll just junk it. but yeah you can have the screw

lol i almost forgot to get your mounts for the header panel lol. My cousin picked up the car to scrap it yesterday and last minute i remembered and pulled them off

also i junked the hatch since nobody showed any interest. I thought somebody would want it since it was in great shape but anyway too late now

lolz that woulda sucked... haha well im at work and already got the hood off... haha... the guys at work all say that i could get a ticket for it... so ya we'll find out if i can drive an hour and a half without getting one... =P... i got your phone number and address... i should be leaving around 8 or 9 in the morn... see you then...
