Hey Glen,
Don't think he has one listed but it is probably basically the same turnout as last time. When I was talking to them on the back staging area about 10 mins before they entered the track for the parade laps, a group of them standing outside of their cars stated to me that they all would be returning again for the same type of event on May 10th. Thats how I found out. I then searched it and came across the listing also on this site where Jon listed he saw me there.
If you are interested, just link that Corvetteforum link and I am sure he will try and fit you guys in. They can have up to 40 cars and I think they had about 20-25 last time.
I just got a great idea thinking of you and our old Autox ventures (well, not old for you, you're still doing it)- I could talk to George (Lugnutz) and see if he could convince Lester into letting us do a little fun club exibition Autox stint running about 10 cars on a little demo cone course for fun on the infield before a race event. Heck, I'd just have fun drifting the whole little course- screw the times. Just one fun run each for show. Would not be this event of course. We would have to convince them into doing it and go over how to quickly execute ten cars onto the track and into the infeild cone course one run each in about 10 mins max timeframe- Thats about how long the parade laps thing goes. I think the crowd would eat it up and get a kick out of seeing autox- bet alot of them have never seen it in person with semi ordinary street cars (Meaning "non tube chassis racecars") Cars kindof like they own and drive daily.
Any takers for that idea? If so, then I can check with them. I already have Lugnutz working on a marketing idea I pitched to them last event that looks like it will happen- A surf board giveaway from our sponsor that is going to help fill the stands on a slow night.
