Ya i only see a few thirdgens here in bakersfield, most of them are rs camaro's driven by teenagers who just need a cheap car from there parents, a couple of z28/irocs/gta's/formulas. but most are beat to hell. everyone around here drives civics and mustangs.
I'm down here in souther california, I wouldn't mind the drive up there, though I think I might fall into that category of a teenager that needed a cheap car, though I wanted a camaro to begin with and my parents did not buy it, i slaved away to get that 1100 bucks... lol
I'm not saying all teenagers are like that, but sometimes you can just tell they don't know the first thing about cars and all there car is for is to move them and their friends around, its not a hobby to them. you beening registered on this forum shows a different story.

No meets nothing? Its a lonely place full of stangs and imports.

With so few thirdgenners up there its tough to plan a meet and expect people to show up. I'd like to go to Famoso again and race sometime. And I'm still hoping for Dwayne to show up so we can plan a trip to Najoqui Falls near Solvang.
Yeah I have thought many of times about going down there and having dinner with yall, and of course see some beautiful thirdgens, just havent got it in me yet to drive the 3hrs. Maybe before long who knows.
Dan

I've been trying to start a 3rd/4th gen meet in Twentynine Palms but I think I'll have to print out flyers or something since it seems like everybody out there has a modified F-body but aren't registered on any forums (or even have an internet connection!)... Chaos... What a sad world we live in. lol
