If anybody can point me in the direction of where to get a reasonably priced 4th gen rear end, I sure would be appreciative.

I've seen several V8 4th gens in the pick-your-part yards, but you gotta be willing to pull it yourself. If you are going to be choosy about gear ratios, your options diminish substantially.
Since the gears in my existing rear end suddenly became nothing but a pile of shrapnel, I'm more interested in getting the car going again than finding the ideal ratio.
I have one off of a 94 z28. Its a parts car and i was told it has 3.73's on it. Complete from disk to disk. I have not removed it from teh car but can remove it soon.

Yeah, sure you can find a fourth-gen rear end at a "pick-your-part" junkyard, but most are basic non-limited slip, drum brake rear ends from v6's mostly.
So it makes it the same as a '90-'92 third-gen with the same 28 spline axles accompanied by a non-limited slip rear end and drum brakes. It's pretty hard to find something other than that at a junkyard unless you camp out early perhaps or know a good jy.
