I need help installing my tailight covers, never done it before. they are held on by velcro strips right? If anybody has done it before on their camaro let me know. if you live in the Riverside/ Corona area I can come to you and you can install them. I will pay you 20.00 to put them on. any takers? I dont want to screw it up.
I have them on my car. I ended up drilling 3 holes in each one and screwing them in for peice of mind. It's really not hard to do, just clean the surface of the tailights and place the covers on. The pair I got had the left cover a bit warped. I heated it up and reshaped it.

By any change have you had any trouble with the law because of the blacked out light.
I would like to have my light like your but some police officers says since my car is black, i can't put on black tail light on my camaro
Actually, yes I have, but what was funny is that I got pulled over the morning before for tinted windows. I got a ticket for the windows, but didn't for the lights; I told the cop I'd take them off. I asked him about other cars and trucks with tinted/blacked out lights and windows, and he said he gives them tickets too. A BS rant went off in my head as he was saying that. That morning he decides to pull me over instead of the guy that cuts me off right in front of the cop. But I've had this setup for over a year now, and only got hassled for it twice. One of the many reasons I'm not a fan of cops.
I have the very same blackouts camaromike222 has but I went the velcro route instead of the drill and screw.
Simple simple procedure, almost impossible to screw up, don't sweat. You put a 2" wide .5" high strip of velcro (sticky on one side, velcro on the other) on both the headlights themselves and the blackouts in this arrangement: you put one strip in each "corner" of your left bank of lights, and then four strips on each corner on your right bank of lights. This makes a grand total of 8 strips on your cars lights, and 8 strips on your blackouts. Just line them up correctly, if you don't it's not a big deal simple peal off the badly placed strip and do over.
Don't worry about having someone else do them for you, just get yourself some velcro or screws and go for it.
My blackouts were 50 for both, 55 shipped bought on ebay.
