Its that time again, the SoCal Thirdgenners are having our October meeting on Saturday October 3rd at 6pm.
Mimi's Cafe
17919 Gale Ave
City of Industry, CA 91748
(626) 912-3350
We'll start gathering in the parking lot around 5:30 - 5:45pm and check out the new mods on everyone's cars, then head inside at 6pm for the meeting. It usually takes about 2 hours.
The meeting consists of introductions, past event discussion, future event discussion, show and tell, and open forum. Dinner will be served by the Mimi's Cafe staff during the meeting.
Things to discuss include the results of the Dyno Day, the Big Bear trip, the plans for our December dinner and cruise, and the EFI Drag Racing Shootout.
Our sc3g.org domain name is coming up for renewal next year, so please bring a couple dollars to contribute to the pot for that. Last time, we had enough money to renew it for seven years. I cant believe this club has been around that long!
Please post if you plan to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
I have to play army that weekend, but we might be out early enough for me to drop by. I'm hoping to get my car to big bear saturday and meet a few people there as well.
i'l be there, missed the big bear trip so can't miss the monthly, plus i have a few parts to show and tell about, a suspension techniques rear sway bar for one that i bought, if anyone can give me some info on it im having trouble finding info on it and positive or negative reviews
I got the time off from work, so I'll be there.
You don't need to bring anything just park and say hi!
If you want to eat at the restaurant don't forget your $
Damn, borrowing a nickel turns into $21.17 in 58 days?
Anyone want to borrow a quarter?
Not only am I supposed to be racing that day, but I am supposed to be hime to be surprised or something like that - Its my Birthday...the Richard Petty one. #43
Needless to say, I will not make it. One of these days when I do not have race season. I try and make one a year.

I will have completed a few spins around the sun myself by then, but I will still be there.
Daily compound interest Julie, interest paid on both the principal and on accrued interest daily. I’ll keep it short and sweet mainly because this is entirely too much math for 2:30 in the morning. Let’s say you borrow $20 from someone at a rate of 33% that was accrued daily and you knew that you weren’t going to be able to repay this loan for let’s say 30 days. On the first day your $20 loan would now be $26.60, on the second day it would be $35.38, and on the third day it would be $47.05 and so on… So at 30 days, your original loan of $20 will have compounded to $103,891.31. Now if we stretch it out to 60 days which in this case is a little more accurate. Your loan balance would now be $539,670,220.17 - 20(1.33)60. Ah, whoops!
Tom, you are a man after my own heart. Now all you have to do is produce the promissory note with her signature on it verifying her agreement to the terms of said contract and 10 or so witness statements verifying that she was NOT under duress in fact quite the opposite when the document was executed. If you have any issues producing any of the afore mentioned documents, I believe I can reproduce anything you might need for a small fee of course.
Now, look at what you have done! My martini is warm and my Arturo Fuente has burned out. Dammit!
Well Tom, I’ll tell you straight… I’m used to being a 20 percenter so your offer is more than generous. I’ll have the appropriate documentation couriered over this morning so you can have her served at the meeting this evening. Pleasure doing business with you my friend…
I wish we could get our NorCal TGO group to gather regularly. Although we are doing a GTG at Sacramento Raceway for Grudge Racing. We will see how many actually show up.
New to the third generation scene, have a 89 iroc and am constantly putting in new things to help it look and fly like a jet. If possible send me an email so i can attend, just out of the military looking for some more gear heads. SteveMenjivar@yahoo.com.

Your best bet is to keep hanging out on this board or www.SC3G.org. Every event, meet, etc, is posted and discussed here and at the other board which is our club board. We are very informal, no dues, no special invites required, just show up. If it is a cruise, you might want to post your intentions of joining us here so that we can make sure you are accounted for at the original meeting place before we leave.
