Re: Hey Julie do you still need a fuel pump

How is your fuel guage sending unit? I know they are a week spot on this camaros. I've found a sight that sell an exact replacement for them with everything included except the pump for a reasonable price. Chevy wants something like $700.00.

http://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/prt,22,FG20A

the above sight sells them for $117.00. I bought one myself and am waiting until after I move (again) for Don to install it for me.

Good Luck
Andy

Re: Hey Julie do you still need a fuel pump

When my pump went out it died completely and at once. I think trying to start the car repeatedly when the tank was empty did the trick. I've only run out gas (bad sending unit) once since then and called AAA instead of trying to start it.

I have heard bad things about Walboro, too.
I know I saw one that ate the screens, but I don't know if that can be prevented?
