You never get what you put into it back. If it were me doing the sale i'd sell the sound system separately. I understand its a clean car but there just isn't much interest in a v6. Good luck.

Good luck. If you are lucky the custom sound system was done well enough that it won't hurt the value. Paint is just part of the car. If the paint job is perfect, the interior is flawless, and mechanically it is in great shape, it is worth high blue book, perhaps a bit more if you find someone that really wants it. Custom paint doesn't add anything to value unless it is something really significant that a specific buyer just can't do without. What sort of mileage do you get on the highway. Nobody who pays that much for a v6 is going to use it as a daily driver, so it will probably only be used on the highway. For comparison purposes, Don has a 355 V8 making 370 rwhp and getting 25 highway mpg.

I can really vibe wit the feelin you put a lot of style, and care into the car.. However like the kat above stated, you don't get whut you slap in back... Kelly blue book on your vehicle gives a number of $2,715. And that's with many options you stated...
With it bein' a V6, hard-top... It's not nearly as a desired car as it's V8 t-top breathren...(Which can also reach near your MPG highway miles) It'll move for half your askin price... However, obviously that's not your desire...
So... Think about whut you have as a car over-all.. Since your also lookin at it in a different perspective as others would. Then you can plaster it in all the on-line ads.. There's also E-Bay as well...
sell the sound system equipment seperately, i've found the majority of us third geners don't have nor need anythign fancy like sound systems. most third gens are not driven much so the need for fancy sound systems and other comforts are not needed as much as a car thats is used as a daily driver. real clean car though, 2 bad its a v6
Yep. Sell the system separately you will get most of your money back that way. You won't if you keep it in the car. Heck you can part the car out and get more money out of it than to sell it. Just saying DON"T do that. V6 I would barely think you get 2 grand. good luck.
Call me wierd, but that is definately my favorite color an a 91-92 camaro. I would say if it was a 305TPI t-5 vert, it might be worth that kinf of money but its none of that.
The problem with selling the sound system separately is that if the interior was cut to fit the components, you will then have holes in the interior which will lower the value of the car accordingly, but even if you sell the car for less, if you get a decent price for the sound system, you may come out ahead. I doubt if the fresh paint adds anything to the value of the car, however. Generally paint adds nothing to the value of a car, but bad paint reduces the value.
