Hello everyone, I am pretty new to TGO and I have a question I hope you all may be able to help me with. I want to clean my engine (exterior), and was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I can get it steam cleaned, in South East L.A area or Orange County. I usually wash the engine on my other vehicle with mild degreaser and a pressure gun. That works great with my truck but I have a feeling it will cause problems with my Camaro. If anyone knows of a recomendable place I would appreciate your info. Thanks.
The place I know of maybe to far of a distance for ya kid... It's Gold Coast Mufflers.. It's in Long Beach, off of Long Beach Blvd. They do engine cleaning work. Good, friendly kat's..
just do it yourself cover the distributer with a small trash bag use Simple Green spray enough then scrub with soft brush hose her down and badabing like new
I am not too far from long beach, I will check them out, thanks. Depending on the price I might just do the simple green and pressure hose. It is not too dirty up on top (mostly dusty) but the bottom is super cruddy. Ill post a befor picture and then an after picture. Thanks.

Reason: none
All I needed was a bunch of degreaser and a pressure washer and you will be good. Then after I got some armorall and sprayed the hole engine with it and its shiny till this day.
Well I finally got around to cleaning the engine this weekend. I used some degreaser I bought at the car wash supply store near my house. It is pretty good stuff. it came out nice without staining the engine or any parts.
Thanks guys for the compliments, yeah, Im gonna throw some armor all on it this weekend, natural shine blue bottle kind not the super glossy original formula.
