Club Christmas Dinner Dessert Poll

December 5th will be here before you know it so I’m going to be proactive in course selection in an effort to make sure that we have the right mix of food according to everyone’s tastes. I would like have our dinner order finalized and submitted well before the 5th so all we have to do is sit down and enjoy each other’s company instead of chaotically trying to figure out what everyone wants to eat.

I will be putting up the following polls:

Appetizer
Salad
Pasta
Dessert

Please note that this poll is only going to be open for 7 days. You are also able to make multiple selections in this poll as variety is important. Once you have made your selections I will update the list by placing an asterisk next to your name. I ask that only those of you that have confirmed for the Christmas dinner vote in the poll.

Here is a link to the Buca Di Beppo menu in the event you have any questions regarding the menu items.
http://www.bucadibeppo.com/menu/index.aspx

Thanks for your help everyone.

I have a current headcount of 29 people. I have a reservation for a table that seats 30 so we still have 1 seats available for those of you that would like to join us for the club Christmas Dinner.

Yo Mike... If I recall correctly that was your name. Count me in +1. All the food looks so good. I cant make up my mind what I want. So you need the order prior to event date correct? will you be collecting money to?

That's correct, my name is Mike.

Don't worry, you still have several days to check out the menu and figure out what you would like to eat. Once you have figured it out go ahead and vote. It's going to be served family style so I want to make sure we have more of what the majority of people want and a little less of what only a few would like. As far as the money goes, the rough figure is about $20 per person. This will include your choice of a non alcoholic beverage, selection of appetizers, selection of salads, selection of pastas, and a selection of desserts. Alcoholic beverages will be available on a cash and carry basis at the bar. As far as the money goes, we will settle up at the end of the evening. If you have any additional questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

Thanks for confirming.

I will have to call my wife in to decipher the list before we vote. It's tough living like a hermit and not getting out in the world.

Thanks Mike for the suggestion. I will give Billy Boys a try-out. I have to expand my cuisine.

Re: Club Christmas Dinner Dessert Poll

Looks like it is staying home for me and tending to the princess with 50/50 bars. I just also had to cancel my trip to Steamboat in light of her broken leg. Webble....I mean Lisa, is laid up pretty badly right now. Otherwise I would request an invite. I like Buca's.

thank you anyways.
If for any reason we are able to make it, I will just try and get our own table somewhere near the group and do our own fod thing. My ex and I used to eat in the special kitchen table in the Buca restaurants where the chefs let you sample everything they make for free. If no one has done this, its a fun thing to do. you get to greet EVERYONE that enters the restaurant and passes your table with an Italian accent.
ps- The wicked ex was actually smiling, That was a rare moment.

Thanks for letting me know Dean. It’s a shame you wont be able to join us, but I completely understand. Taking care of the people closest to us trumps everything.

Re: Club Christmas Dinner Dessert Poll

Our current headcount is 28 so we have room for two more people as of now. I wish we could accommodate more people however the restaurant has limited us to 30.

Thanks to all of you that have voted and for those of you that haven’t, I have no way of knowing what you like and without your input therefore can’t be held responsible for not ordering what you like.

There are 4 polls total:

Appetizer
Salad
Pasta
Dessert

Please verify that you have voted on all 4.

Thanks for your help guys

Ok, with the good dessert selection I'm re-confirming that we are coming. This is for real and no fooling around.

Well thank you for re-comfirming. It just wouldn't be a party without you there Allen.

I’ll be right there with you! Only, difference is that I will be having mine during the three martini mixer before dinner.
