I went to last year's ROTWC and it was a lot of fun. I'm trying to get more of my fellow NastyZ 2nd genners to go this time though... there were only two 2nd gens last time including me. Would be good to have better mix of old and late models this time!
Last year I think there were close to, or over, a hundred cars IIRC?? A LOT of 4th gens, good number of 3rd gens, two 2nd gens (including me), one 5th gen, and some GTO's and Vettes. It was a really nice drive.
I know this is still a few months out but I have to admit im really fired up about the ROTW Cruise!! I've already made plans to go, and I'm bringing at leaset one other 3rd gen buddy with me (he aslo has a first gen, so it remains to be seen how he's gonna roll)
last year was $10 to be a spectator, well worth it considering the quality of cars that showed up, although you might want to bring some food and drinks i found the food and beverages to be rather expensive.
Unfortunately I have no control over the food for the track, but nothing says ya can't bring a cooler and also there is in and out privleges (but not much close by)
Anyway there is 5 weeks or preregistration left. Sign up early.
I think the third gens impressed me the most last year.
Signed up yesterday for the Sunday T&T. I assume you add our names to the roster list? I think overall we will do better this year. More cars coming on line with more powerful motors. Next year should be even better.

I have done some research and it appears this is the last year I can run my Snell 2000 helmet. Does anyone know otherwise? I would hate to get out there and not be able to run my car because of the helmet. Thanks, Allen
Edit: Ok, I found the 2010 NHRA rules update. Looks like my Snell M2000 helmet is good until 1/1/12. So I have another year to go on it.

I purchased one pit pass for our group. I assume Andy will be the driver of the supply truck? Looks like it will take an 11 second pass to set a new record and take over the top spot. I will have made some improvements from the last time out.
By the way I did not recognize anyone elses name on the roster from our club. If you have paid and your name is not on the roster you need to contact them. I had to. Only a couple of weeks left guys.

Where do you find the roster? I get 'this page cannot be displayed...' when i click on Sun t&t...all I have is a PayPal receipt so far for the duckets remitted....?
Bill, go to www.losangelesinvasion.com and on the upper right it will say roster. It is a yellow "button" with "roster" in black. Click on that and when the roster page comes up scroll down to Sunday TNT Drag Racing. Look for your name on the list. I see a few more have been added. Allen
Ok, Dyno Don got my Yank PT4000 converter installed today. I expected it to be quite abit looser than my Yank SS3600 but it is not bad at all. Only 12 miles but so far so good. One interesting thing is going down the freeway at 70mph with the SS3600 my rpms would be in the 2500-2600rpm range. With the PT4000 my rpms are 2300-2400rpm. All we did was change out the torque converter. After the dyno tune on May 15th I will be ready for the Invasion.
Yes, everything is locking up for sure. Just kind of weird and I'm not sure what to make of it. However I do like it as that should help my milage on the highway. See you at the Invasion if not sooner.
Just a reminder that this Friday is the last day of registration. You can sign up on the day of the event if there are slots open and the cost will be a little more. Let's get out there and show the 4th gen guys how to get down the track.
I can be the same place as last year near the Ontario Mills. If you're going north on the 15fwy, exit 4th street then head straight into the Baker Burgers/ Arco gas station i parking lot at the end of the off ramp.

Its almost time gang,… I know it’s been mentioned a few times, but nobody has really confirmed anything,… Are we planning on meeting somewhere and rolling in as a group?
I’m coming up the 215 from the SD area, and would prefer a meeting spot somewhere close to the meeting point for the cruise. Perhaps the Stater Bros 2 blocks west
