Hi guys its my first post on this site thought i would put it here Im from Wichita . I work at Bullseye collision in Haysville. Just got my TA ,put on some wheels and im ready to start tackling the suspension paint and motor . Anyone have any pics of there stuff from Wichita or close?
I don't have any pics currently, but will soon. My two cents is handle suspension first, engine second, then go on to the paint. That way by the time you get the engine finished She's already drivin' like a dream.
I'm still at the suspension right now. I HIGHLY recomend a strut brace bar. I just put one in and WOW. Between 36mm front and 24mm rear sway bars and a BMR 3 pt strut brace bar i have pretty much no body flex and minimal body roll. next is front eibach springs and KYB struts all around.
I was reading on here that some guys were gonna get together in the beginning of 07 did that happen and is anyone interested in getting together soon to do a little meet and greet?

hey i am from Belleville kansas. i have a 1986 chevy berlinetta camaro. its kool to have some people in kansas lol. maybe if someone is close we could hook up and go for a cruise or whatever when i get my exhaust on.
Idea , century 2 parking lot the last day of starbird , if you've never been it's awesome .
Non-stop hotrods and 95% are pissed they didn't get a trophy , it's a burnout festival , when was the last time you saw a cuda light'em up or a chevelle with a blower going sideways ?

I'm trying to finish my top end project , I've still got to clean my IAC and bolt my throttle body on , lower radiator hose , harmonic balancer and alternator pulley , fuel injector and rail leak test , and set timing . I don't know if my car will be leaving my ice cold garage this weekend but I'll probibly roll the ( cli ) - taurus to the parking lot sunday night around 6 to watch the action .
so did anyone go to the starbird show? it was awesome! still one day left!!!! if you happen to go, there is a 89 rx7 with a 350 sbc and tt... i help build that car! painted the bottom side of the hood and sanded the top, and my cd player is in there! i was pretty excited, if you wanna look for it, its white with blue stripes and in the grand hall all the way in the back...

I was thinking about going, I think it's $3.00 per car and 8-4 on fri and sat. If I go I think I will take the truck opposed to the camaro, just in case I find something I can't live without.
Yep. Hitting the road for Wichita early Friday morning--last year IROC wheels for $125 and a L/S Conteur seat for $25 (and a gut full of those roasted peanuts).
anyone have an extra dashpad in wichita? Mine cracked the other day because Kansas likes to have 50 degree swings in a single day. That's what I'm guessing is the cause anyway.
I'm here till begining of 08. if anyone interested I'm down.
