Fremont days is a good one. Just city blocks of cars. Sorry, not for sure when fremont days is. All the other shows i'm thinking about aren't going to be too big. Seward usually has one on 4th of july, a decent amount of cars. I haven't gone to the seward 4th of july show in a couple years, so i dont know for sure. One thing to keep in mind is you usually see a couple thirdgens show up at even the little small town shows like monroe, bellwood. If i hear anything, I'll post here. I usually hear about them a week before they happen.
You missed a good one on easter, (unless you went to it). Keep it in mind for next year. They cruise every year to a few small towns like creston, genoa, duncan. About 60 cars or more. There was only about 3 or 4 thirdgen camaros but the other cars make up for it. Other cars were 1st gen camaros, 2nd gen firebirds, 2nd gen camaros, an impala with a 572, a cuda, 4th gen LS1 trans ams, corvette C5's, a C6, a LS2 GTO, and mustangs. Their were more older muscle cars (60s, 70s) but i'm not too familiar with those cars. The last stop in Duncan, some of the cars do a burn out one at a time before they leave. Something about seeing 20 burnouts in one day. They had to end it early cause too many people were drinking on the street and they were getting too many complaints. Still was sweet.
Well, they really don't have a website, but you can check your local newsstands for a publication called 'The Latest Scoop' which bills itself as an "Auto Enthusiast Calendar" for the Rocky Mtn region. The (admittedly old) copy that I have looks like it covers Nebraska...
Of course, you can always drive down here for the Super Chevy show in August...
this sunday 6/4/05, 350+ cars will be in columbus, ne. There was already a lot in town today(friday). I'd say about 100-150. Not very many thirdgens though. Mostly 50s, 60s, 70s muscle cars.
Its a little far from now but the Last Fling Till Spring car show in West Point, NE usually has a really good turn out. I believe its held around Labor Day
