Just joined TGO, live in Lakewood, Fill me in on this MHTG thing I have been reading about on all the posts. What do ya'll do as a group, how often do ya get together, ya know, that kind of stuff???? You can see my info and pics in the vBGarage. Thanks!
MHTG is our club. We have about 15 -20 members, just whole bunch of friends sharing the third gen passion. We try to meet once a month and we usually have alternating meetings at each of the members houses.
We are curently planing a dinner not so far from you. You might wanna check it out.
I personally, live in wheat ridge, so we should meet up sometimes and I'll fill you in on MHTG.
Hey! Thanks for all the welcomes and pic compliments! I can't wait for summer. I am doing a few things through the winter months here to make it look better. I am having the spoiler repainted now cause the paint looked like....well....like early 90's GM paint. Enough said on that. I should have the formula decals here soon as well. I always was a sucker for the decals. Once those things are done I can put money into some things that will make it a bit more impressive in the trottle.
That being said, I have encountered a problem and was wondering if anoyne out there could help. A couple months ago I sold my dodge truck because someone wanted it real bad and lets face it, money talks. Now I have a 3000lb snowsled. If anyone out there has a decent reliable 4x4 for sale let me know. I am looking for either a pickup or suv, mid 90's, and appearance don't really matter. I have been hitching rides to work because I don't want to slide sideways into a light pole or do something stupid like that. Plus I cringe every time I get road grime on my car. Yeah, I know, I should have waited till spring to sell the truck, but hindsight is 20/20. I am shopping the private market because I hate dealerships. My price range isn't really set, I guess it all depends what I find and how nice it is. If ya got something, let me know. If not, cool, I'll see y'all in the summer months!
welcome to the forum. Very nice formula you got there. Can't do much for you snowsled problem but check out craigslist and the classifieds often for a good deal.
Well, still no prospects on the 4x4 thing, guess I'll go get a new dodge. Cummins this time.
Anyhow, I got the rear spoiler repainted and the decals are on the way, so it will look decent. Time to spend some money. I am getting new tires and redoing the suspension right after christmas. Any suggestions on lowering springs? I want it a bit lower for appearance, but not frame draggin low...
I had the Eibach Pro - kit, and was very happy with the drop and ride. I have since moved to bigger and better thing - Eibach Sportlines. The Sportlines are a much more aggressive drop and the ride is somewhat harsh with my 18" wheels. I have traded these to Nort89z, and he really likes these as well.
Basically the Pro-kit springs get my recommendation!
