torque arm bushing and b&m changeover kit

what torque arm bushing do i need to use with the B&M TH-350 changeover kit. The stock one from my 1984 camaro 5-speed doesnt sit against the torque arm and it bangs against the bracket and is annoying. Does anybody have this kit and what bushing did they use. Thanks.

I have the B&M kit on mine. I just ordered a poly bushing made by energy suspension. I used one of the later model ones, not the '82-'83 torqque arm bushing they make but one of the newer ones that differs depending on which way the torque arm lip faces. Mine fits REAL tight. Had to use a "c" clamp to squeeze the thing enough to run the bolts through. The bushing is only $20 and poly on top of that so just a suggestion.

HTH,

The lip is on the top and bottom edge of the torque arm. So if you were looking at the torque arm bushing from the rear it will have a cut in it for the torque arm. I'll try and attach a pic from energy suspension's web site for ya. Well this is from summit's site. In the upper right corner you can see the end of a torque arm. It makes kind of an "m" shape. Which way that faces (either towards the driveshaft or away from it) determines which part you need.
