Lakewood vs Spohn - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Hey guys,
I am a big fan of Spohn's stuff and was going to get some LCA's from them, but I found on ebay for $49 Lakewood's rear lower control bars. How are they in comparison? Will I see just as good of straight line traction? ... Also, will they work with Spohn's Relocation brackets and Torque Arm?

The bars are constructed of heavy gauge square steel tubing for strength and to eliminate the flex that is common with the stock arms, while incorporating polyurethane bushings for precise stability. i don't know about comparisons but i do know the lakewood arms will work with the spohn brackets cause thats what i have. i had very bad wheel hop that the spohn brackets helped.they shouldn't affect the torque arm either although i'm using a bmr

i had lakewoods on my 88 formula 350, and they stoped all my wheel hop and i was pulling a tad better 60 foot times..

i live too far away from atrack, i only go1 or2 times ayear so its hard to say how much time they dropped. they did stop the wheel hop. when i shifted the 1-2 and sometimes the 2-3 my driveshaft would flex so much the front u-joint would hit the tunnel. with the torque arm , which spohn pointed me towards, it stopped.i'd try the relocation brackets first, they're a good buy.

lakewood lca's (duh)
spohn relocation brackets
spohn torque arm
lakewood 70/30 shocks.

Do you all think it is possibly to knock off a half second from my et of 12.8 @ 117 via g-tech?

I have everything you list above except for the 70/30 shocks and I don't use the spohn relocation brackets that are on the car. I took off the front sway bar. I get 1.64 60' times with slicks. It jerks the left front tire off the ground a little. My advice is get the torque arm and lca's.
