Proportioning Valve

Yes, I searched and read, and read some more. Thanks EBMiller and AndyZ-28 for the many posts on proportioning valves.

I am just checking to make sure I am ordering the correct part.

Here is the situation on my 1991 Camaro RS:
Old brakes were: disc front, drum rear.

I now have: disc all the way around (Baer).

I want to avoid the adjustable proportioning valves and go with a GM part.
I plan to order GM part#10164112 to replace the stock proportioning valve.

Is this correct?

I see gmpartsdirect.com has a listing for both 10164112 and 10136840, but does not list details on them. Per EB's past post, they are one in the same. They are the same price on gmpartsdirect.

Just trying to avoid a mistake.

Any help is appreciated-

Thanks,
S-D

Proportioning valve (2nd design, 1.5 tube nut threads): 10136840 is correct.. 10164112 is probably the "new" part number, but I'd order using 10136840 (since it is listed) to be safe.

Thanks for the confirmation- Ordering and then having to return a piece (even a small one like this) is always a drag.

Thanks again-
