I love my car and how it hugs the ground on those nice flat roads but I live in Jersey so the odds of nice flat land around here aint so great. I was wondering if there is something out there to give me a smoother ride on bumpy ground? I hate feeling like my car is shaking to pieces when I go over rail road tracks. Any help would be appreciated.

get all new bushings. either poly or prothane. make sure to lube them up good and possibly replace things like swaybar endlinks, tie rod ends (inner and outer), etc. i think the bushing change will do the most for ya.

I saw you have another post that's basically asking the same. I'm not sure how much comfort or performance you actually want but in either extreme you have to make some compromises. If you want performance you'll need a stiffer suspension but if you want a smooth ride on bumpy roads you'll need softer which equals less performance. The only way to have more of the best of both worlds would be to get adjustable struts/shocks and maybe use the stock Z28 suspension spring. That with some large swaybars should give you good performance but still normal comfort with our cars.

If yer car really sounds like it's shaking apart then possibly you could benefit from some SFC's. I have a really stiff suspension but the car doesn't sound like it's going to shake apart on bumpy roads(I have a hardtop). U can feel it's really firm but it doesn't sound or feel broken. I will say that I do try to avoid the cities bumpiest streets here now tho.
