Car: '92 RS, '84 Z28 Engine: 383, L69 Transmission: T56, 700R4 Axle/Gears: 3.42, 3.42 | They are supposed to give more traction. heres a theory, holding a 8 foot 2x4, and lift up with one arm, and keep it straight, then get a 4 foot piece and do the same. which is gonna be easier to lift? The 4 foot. Thats kinda the way the short torque arms work, the short one lifts the body more, therefor puttin more weight on the rear wheels, and giving you more traction.
Do a search on this, its been talked bout before. some say it affects your breaking tho.
