Ok so I have had quite a long conversation with the Ronal Rep out of California. Like everyone who is interested in these wheels knows, he informed me that they no longer make the Firehawk wheel for 3rd Generation cars. Oh surpirse, something good comes along and you dump it. Anyway, he is thinking about bringing the issue surrounding their resurrection up with the factory in Germany if there is enough interested buyers. This is how the wheels were brought back the first time!! So all you guys and gals that want them need to get active. Lets bombard the guys email with requests for the wheels and who knows, maybe the "power of the people" can bring back the dead! The email is ronalusa@ronalusa.com.
yeah i almost wasnt going to buy them but when i saw slp had them on sale free shipping i couldnt pass that up, after i got them alittle while later i saw them discontinued for good; glad i got my set.

I talked to the guy at Ronal today. He said they broke the mold for that wheel. They need enough people to show interest in that wheel design to make it worth while to make a new mold. So everybody that likes that design please email them and ask them to bring back the R-15 "Firehawk" wheel. I would really like to have a set.
why do they break the mold, how big could a mold be. thats dumb that they break them . I dont understand why they discontinued to make them , or they should make them on a limitied basis.

Molds wear out after use, so they probably got all the life out of the mold that they could.
