rear end sways back and forth on acceleration - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

This is really weird. When I accelerate, while going slow or from a stop, sometimes it feels like the rear end is swaying back and forth a bit. I visually checked all the rear suspension components and couldnt see anything wrong.. am I going insane or is there something that could actually cause this?

edit: I dont think I phrased that right. I mean the rear of the car feels like it's swaying...

Mine has the same problem, but I blame my tires.

I have the same exact story! Usually cause my tires are spinning

sounds like a bad phb bushing or a dead damper.

of course some of us spend thousands to make this happen
