I'm getting ready to purchase some 17x 8 inch wheels for the front of my car with 4.5 inch backspacing, along woth 17x 10 rears with 5.5 inch back spacing.
Are there any forseable problems with this? Looking for a nice stance, a little fat in the rear, but not the ghetto cruiser look, but not going for the fully tucked look either.
Crazy Hawiian has 18x9.5 with 5.5 BS and it looks nearly perfect. Can I fit 17x10 with 6" BS without mods? or will the 5.5 on a 10" rim still look good.
These are custom rims so I only get one shot - please help any advice will be appreciated.
the rims don't come in the 9.5 size so I won't be putting them on the front, even though I'd like to , also want to stick with 17"s so I don't fully lose the ride quality , as compared to a larger rim.
Looking to run a 255/40 tire in the Front and a 275/40 in the rear, or should I run a 285/35?
Thanks-

Not sure this will help, but I'm running on some 17x8's with 245/45 front and 275/40 front, it rides pretty smooth, i must say im happy with it. 255's front sounds like a better idea tho. Good luck, i wanna see some pics when they're on
