tire size and wheel spacing

i look to the administrators for this if it is not in the right place but i believe it is if not i wouldnt object a bit to the administrators moving it


now ive was talkin to a previous third gen owner and they had mentioned to me that you can fit a 275 50 15 tire on an 8 " wide rim under the car with 5.5 wheel spacing is it true.. he said it would result in about a 10 inch tire and that what i m hoping for

On my car I ran a 4.5in bs with 8in wheels. With 10in wheels had 5.5in bs. 275-50-15s work great with either wheel. U will get more footprint with the 10in. wheels.

well with the 8 inch wheel how wide was the foot print? because i already have 15X8's
