Re: problem with my ET streets

not tryin to knock knowlege or anything but thats a bias ply tire. And they are basicly a slick with grooves. You could but, comin from a professional drag racer, i wouldn't. givin our slicks we run are makin alot more mph but you still have thin tread and soft sidewalls. We threw away our best pair of mickey slicks 34.5x17 because they got a cut in them from debris on the track.

Re: problem with my ET streets

I'm sure it will be fine, I've heard of people running on slicks with a patch in them, but I would never do it. Just think of this, $350 for 2 new slicks and you have a spare, or you have a destroyed car and you're missing a face. It would either rip apart on the launch, or right at the top of your run, either one will mess up your day. I'd just buy the new slicks.

Re: problem with my ET streets

only thing you can do is drill the rim for rim screws and put some tubes in it. If you're street driving slicks, that's the price you pay if you get a nail, etc. you have to buy a new set.
