swapping pro kit for sportline... issues?

I am thinking of swapping my Eibach Pro Kit for some new Sportline springs, but I am wondering if I will have alignment issues. I know our cars arent made to do "alot" of front end adjustment. I just want to make sure It will re-align ok...

Re: swapping pro kit for sportline... issues?

when i dropped them in after my saggin WS6 springs... i had to get an alignment but i wasnt far off from the stock setup. my prob was finding a shop to alighn it bc the car was so low. i had to take it to a shop that does ferrarri's and porshes.

i did the whole suspension at one time including struts/shocks, tierod ends, sleeves, bushings etc. car is alighned and is lowwwwwww! lol just how i like it.

the only thing ur gona notice is a lower ride. and the rear springs are a bit softer. might wanna look into aftermarket sphon/j&M strut plates for that extra inch of travel for the front struts

Re: swapping pro kit for sportline... issues?

I have them on mine and it is pretty low. Here's some ride height pic's from the ground to the bottom of the front and rear fenders. I also used the factory isolators front and rear and I'm running 245/50HR-16 tires.

Re: swapping pro kit for sportline... issues?

yea mines like 25 3/4" front and 26 3/4" rear or something like that. but thats cuz i have all the original rubber isolators intact. if i took out the rear and did the radiator hose trick i would have dropped another half inch in the rear.

im using 245/45/R17 nitto 555s speed rated to 180mph

Re: swapping pro kit for sportline... issues?

Well when I put my pro kit on, I also installed my new Koni yellows at the same time. I think the shocks are so stiff, they never let the pro kit springs settle.

lol I doubt that.
I changed my springs and added Koni yellows about 5k miles ago and I still get suspension travel and my springs have settled.

Lets see some better pics of you guys with the sportlines. Let me know if you have lost any weight off the front end ie fibeglass hood, ac delete, emissons crap etc.

Re: swapping pro kit for sportline... issues?

I have sportlines on a 90 hardtop with KYB adjustables, poly everything and other suspension mods.

ride height is ok so I don't hit dead things laying on the road but it is lower than the pro-kit by .6 in front and .2 in back and thats alot more than it sounds

absolutely brutal cornering -- like driving on rails

kinda like a go cart
