anyone used the pipe bender from harbor freight and tool

i was going to purchase one a while ago, but i saw one in the summit racing catalog and it it said not for exhaust. exhaust pipe is too thin. but can this be useful for fabing subframe connectors

deffnitely not for exhaust. Thin wall takes very specific tooling.

sfc's and such it does pretty well, although tighter bends can "dimple" thus won't pass tech for racing. - I've done quiet a bit of chassis/suspension work utilizing one. The more experience you get, the better you can do with it. - Hard to beat for the $.

How far of a bend can you do with out dimpling the metal? I was looking at one myself. I just wanted to add a few things here and there on a prebent cage.
I dont think I would need to do any more than a 45 degree angle.
