can i get wheel dimentions please - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

i have a set of 80's 16 inch Iroc wheels and would like to know the rim dimentions.
i know the rim is a 16 inch rim but i don't know the with of the rim.
so can some one please post the with of the
1-Front Rims
and
2-Rear Rims

if they are in fact 16" rims, they should be a 16x8 rim

have a tape measure handy?

measure the width of the wheel, not the tire, if its around 9" wide overall, its a 8" wheel, if its around 8" wide overally, its a 7" wheel.

Those would be the single line IROC wheels, later IROC had 2 lines.

All are 16x8, and the back of them should be marked Front or Rear, and the offsets are different.

Copying from Andris's site ( www.skulte.com )....

"Our 16x8" 0mm offset front rims would have 4.25" of backspacing. The positive 16mm rear rims (16mm/25.4 = 0.63") have about 4.9" of backspacing"
