Spring Insulator

I took the front springs out of my 82 camaro and it didnt have any insulators on either side. Did they put them in the 82 cars? By the looks of everything i dont think anything has ever been done to the front end from previous owner. He was not one to perform to much maintanace from what I can tell by the rest of the car. Thanks for any help.

look up in the top of the pocket the spring came out of. they might be stuck in there. mine were on my iroc. lol

my 83 hadem but... theyre not all that neccesary. just grease up the pring real good or put some rubber fuel line around the top coil.
