I was wondering what the different results were with the different kits out there. I'll measure the other side to get an average tomorrow. I know this isn't the most accurate means of measuring it, but it should give people an idea of what they can expect from the different kits, cut Moogs, whatever.
My car (at the bottom of the fender lip) is ~25.5 front and 26.5 rear.
car has the mods in sig, fiber-glass hood, and about 40 lbs of stereo equiptment in the trunk.

Ground Control Weight Jacks, adjustable,
Front #1000 8" spring 26" front with plenty of room to go up or down at least 2 or more inches with a 26.4" tire. A 9" or 10" spring should work well with high spring rates the 8" is a bit shorter than necesary
Rear #200 9" spring 26 1/8" rear can go 1/2" lower or 2 1/2" higher with a 26.7" tire this is the shortest spring i could find and the adjusters are almost bottomed out, as low as i can go, with no spring isolaters

I have the Prokit w/ stock worn in isolators it only sits like not even .5" lower than stock, I'll measure later its on a jack right now.

28 in front 28.5 in back. everything is stock except OEM schocks and struts. id like to be around 25.5-26 in front and about 26-26.5 in back. so anybody tell me some decent priced lowering springs that may get me where i want? cheap springs, i cant spend a lot on this unfortunately. thinkin about cutting springs, but i like the idea of new springs in my car. suggestions?
actually i was just going to post the same thing, but can people give the dimension from the center of the wheel to the underside of the fender lip. this will take any variance out of the equation for wheel/tire combos, and allow us all to know how our cars will sit with our respective combos
25.7" front, 27.1" rear (16" 245/50 tyres)
Old WS6 suspension, probably sagged, possibly cut springs by a previous owner. Praise be to the lowered.
edit- actually, 91_5.7_tpi, what's your ride quality like? Mine's pretty bad, I had been wondering how much of a different new low springs/struts make as compared to old low spings/struts.
Thought I'd update this, changed from old WS6 springs to eibach pro-kit, is now 26.6" front, 28" rear. Wheels are still 16" 245/50.
The old WS6 springs didn't appear to have been cut, just sagged. I'm not particularly sold on the pro-kit... as one of my friends said "nice lift kit you've installed there".
wow, I'm at 26-3/8" up front with stock springs (can't accurately measure the rear since the gas tank is out and rear end was jacked up to get it out)...shows what 200k miles can do. I guess lowering springs will probably keep it about the same. Hopefully I can get a better ride quality with new springs and struts/shocks, though!

for now ...... stock 3.4
My car has the ProKit and I had to remove all the isolators on the car to get it close to where I wanted it to sit.

Mine's pretty rough on poor roads, but I love the feel of the car @ speed or on smooth roads. Probably attributed more to the KONIs.

Nothing wrong with cutting springs at all.....I've cut them before & used the springs on daily drivrs & race cars. It is all in HOW you cut.
Or do you think Chip Foose is a "hack"? We've all seen him cut springs on Overhaulin'.
i have the dropzone springs. front is 25" rear is 26.5".got the springs off ebay for 80.00$ the only prob i dont like the rear springs. when i have someone in the rear and i hit a bump i bottom out.

I agree totally, trimming the springs to lower or even out the ride height isn't bad. Obviously to a point, you can't cut 3 coils out of the spring and expect it to work correctly.
It's retards that heat the springs that are Hacks. That totally destroys the rate of the spring.
