Its probably been posted somewhere but i cant find it. How much HP and TQ can you put thru those rear ends if i am running with slicks. obviosly if its steet tires it don't matter i'll spin tires before i break anything. but what about if i am running on slicks how much power can they handle.

I had mine into the high 11's before yanking it out to put a 10 bolt in so I could get a better gear ratio. When I hit low 11's, the 10 bolt came out for a 9".

People have broken or bent them on the street also. It all depends on how you drive. There's no guarantee that yours will survive but they can survive a lot of abuse.

The axles are not the weakest part of the diff. A 10 bolt has a 7.5/7.625" ring gear. The BW 9 bolt has a 7.75" ring gear. That's not much of an increase however it also has 4 side gears so the load is spread over more teeth to make it a little bit stronger. If you break anything, it will be the teeth off the ring and pinion before you break an axle.
