manual steering

just finished manual steering swap on 85 z28, everyone ive told thinks im stupid but i love the way it drives, power steering is only good at low speeds anyways, plus less drag on the motor and engine compartment looks ALOT cleaner and more open, read sig for all upgrades

Re: manual steering

pics?

one day i would like to use the manual pinto rack kit.
that would really clean things up, and still keeps a relatively fast steering ratio

Re: manual steering

Installing a steering rack (power or manual) is a lot more difficult than just swapping the steering box in a third gen.

Re: manual steering

yes, i know.
my plan when i win the lottery is to get a k-member with rack mounts and racecraft 2" drop spindles so i can use a power or manual rack.
id like a manual one, but i like my quick steering.
