Steering box rebuild ??

I just tore apart my steering box to rebuild it and didnt know if I should hone out the bores on it or just leave it. There are some lines in it any suggestions.

Also I would like to powder coat it while it is all apart but I cant get the check valve out of the high pressure fitting. It looks pressed in and I dont want to damage it.

Re: Steering box rebuild ??

Anybody!! I am going to put this back together on thursday night. I would really like to powder coat it but I don't know if that valve can take the sandblasting and the heat??

I can't find any posts about some one powder coating a steering box.
