Alignment ?'s for Members With an STB and After Market Upper Strut Mounts

Did anyone with the above experience any interference between the STB and upper strut mounts so that proper alignment couldn't be achieved? I'm running an Edelbrock three-point and Spohn Spherical Upper Strut Mounts.

Actually, I was thinking that this might be the problem i've been faced with all this time!! That mac strut tower brace that actually bolts on to the same bolts as the strut mount, and ever since then, come to think of it, there has been weird noises and trouble aligning the car... Hmm.. I'll take it off and see if that will help!

Since I'm not particularly familiar with the MAC brace, I tried to find a good pic, but I failed. Without more info, the design 'seems' flawed.

On another note, though I was worried about an alignment with the Edelbrock/Spohn set-up, there was no problem. Frankly, I was worried about the caster adjustment and was prepared to buy the J&M pieces, which has caster adjustment above.
