With coil-over you really need to go to some sort of braced mount, such as Spohn's set-up. The stock strut towers in these cars just don't handle direct/straight vertical load very well.
If you do go coil-overs, I would highly reccomend not going over a 175lb. Most kits I have seen come with 200# or better springs, even with the 1471 and 8-gallons of fuel out front in my car I am having difficulties with the 10" 175's I have now; even with only 3" of total travel, they almost completely unload during launch, thus meaning they aren't really compressed enough at ride height.
BMR and Racecraft both have great stuff. Most reccomend staying away from AJE, as it's not nearly as "bolt-in" as it should be and will likely need much modification to work properly. It's not really as big of weight savings as most manufacturer's would like you to believe, but it makes a
huge difference in room around the engine/compartment for working.
My entire front clip/suspension is custom, but skirts still being legal for outlaw.
