LCAs with zerk fittings?

When I put my adjustable tubular LCAs, the "stock" LCAs I took off, had zerk fittings on the bushings. I've never seen ones like that before.

Any thoughts?

Re: LCAs with zerk fittings?

The brass look of the bushing housings, suggests that they are aftermarket, but I've never seen one with zerk fittings on them.

My 89 GTA didn't have then, but my 87 does. Had it been the other way around, I might have suspected that they were just improved in the later years.

Re: LCAs with zerk fittings?

Those are not factory bushings. See the extra rubber ring on the one side, at the bottom of the 1st+3rd pics? Those are energy suspension poly bushings. Either someone added the zerk, or bought them from one of the places that sold them with a zerk fitting.
