i have a aftermarket panhard bar and lower control arms for my trans am..... can i just install these with the car on the ground without any jacks.... i can get underneath without any jacks and do the job no problem.... i was just wondering if its required to have the car lifted in order for it to be installed properly.... thanks.....
Yes you can IF you can get under there & reach everything. Getting to everything with the car all the way down & tires on the ground, will not be fun. Possible to do, but not fun.
When you do the LCAs, only pull 1 off at a time, put the new one on, then do the other side.
thanks stephen.... also do i need to grease the bushings before install....yeah i can get under there no problem.. so should i see a big improvement over the stock panhard and lower control arms....... i already did the strut tower brace, wonderbar, alstons and bmr sfcs, bmr torque arm and relocation bracket....

If you get some Polyurethane ones, yeah. Lube them up & more than likely, they'll come with a lube. I know http://umiperformance.com provides a lube with theirs.
All my stuff is rod ends. Despite having good rubber bushings in the stock PHB before. My rod ended one SURE made a difference in the corners. The rear reacted INSTANTLY to a heavy right foot. Much more predictable now.
My rod ended LCAs adding a bit of noise & vibration to the ride, but nowhere anywhere near what I expected. Under 15mph over patched potholes & road cracks, is where you'll notice it the most. At highway speeds, even over railroad tracks, there was virtually no difference.
well i got a used hotchkis panhard bar and new j and m street lower control arms... all of them are poly.... would lithium ion grease work...... the lower control arms that i have are new so i hope they come with some lube on them when they arrive to my house....
